Barden are delighted to be partnering with an Irish headquartered global energy group who are growing their finance team in Limerick by hiring a Tax Accountant.
This is a newly created position offering huge opportunity for the right person. The Tax Accountant will be involved in a variety of tax compliance and reporting and also working closely with various business stakeholders on tax projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for managing compliance across a variety of tax heads including VAT, Corporate tax, RCT etc. for Ireland and across EMEA with support from local advisors
- Monthly and annual tax reporting and tax provisioning
- Liaise with third party advisors and tax authorities in various jurisdictions as required
- Assist with tax queries from various stakeholders within the organization
- Review tax processes and suggest improvements where required
- Assist with various projects and undertake technical research as required
About the person:
Ideally the successful candidate will be a qualified Tax Consultant and possibly also an Accountant. Experience in Irish tax is essential, ideally across multiple tax heads. They will be a strong communicator and very organised with the ability to work on own initiative. The team has an open and collaborative culture with great opportunities for career development.
