Reporting to a highly regarded Head of Commercial Finance, you will be allowed the opportunity to get to grip with all of the financials and from there derive value add recommendations for the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Key responsibilities include:

– Responsible for regular commercial reporting to Executive management providing insights that are accurate and timely to support strategic planning and decision making.

– Act as a key Finance Business Partner to the Retail Partners.

– Analysis of key metrics, trend and variance analysis, becoming a subject matter expert with the ability to provide additional insights to the business.

– Drive initiatives and activities which will promote income generation as well as cost savings having a tangible impact on the bottom line.

– Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business and cross functional teams at all levels.

– Participate in group wide projects as required.

 

ABOUT THE PERSON

– Be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.

– The ideal candidate will be highly numeric & analytical.

– A strong systems orientation including advanced excel skills.

– Good communication & inter-personal skills with a proven ability to influence.

– Previous experience working within the FMCG/Retail industry will be an advantage.
