Our client is one of Ireland’s largest growing FMCG companies. The company has successfully acquired and integrated several businesses and continues to expand through organic growth and M&A activity. The company is looking to invite an experienced commercial financial analyst to join their Dublin headquartered finance team in a newly created role to facilitate and drive growth within the company.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will report to the Head of Commercial and provide insights and advice to the broader senior management team on growth opportunities and efficiencies.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Drive and support company growth by optimising strategies.
- Preparing of margin and nominal cost analysis and overheads;
- Supporting the budgeting & forecasting processes;
- Operational KPI reporting and development;
- Liaising with budget holders and business partnering assignments;
- Assisting with the control design processes and improvements of the IT systems;
- Additional duties and ad hoc projects as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional with minimum 2 years Industry PQE;
- Must have prior commercial and analysis experience;
- Cost accounting experience a distant advantage;
- Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take ownership;
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively;
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel;
