The leading Investment Management Business in Dublin has retained Barden to help identify a highly analytical individual to take on a broad co-ordination role supporting the compliance and regulatory reporting business units.  This role would ideally suit an analyst or audit trained professional looking to build their career in a busy investment environment.

  • Owning, maintaining and enhancing the Group Compliance monitoring plan
  • Co-ordinating with other Compliance team members in relation to their areas of responsibility within the plan to ensure that the status of all tasks is accurately reflected and reported to stakeholders as relevant
  • Preparing content for Board reports on compliance monitoring across the Group, including dashboards and information that can be easily assimilated
  • Ensuring adequate identification, assessment, communication and monitoring of compliance and regulatory risks
  • Implementing new reviews where required due to changes in regulatory requirements or new businesses and/or products
  • Writing reports/presentations that clearly articulate the results and conclusions of compliance review activities
  • Communicating and presenting findings and recommended actions to senior management across the business
  • Identifying deficiencies and recommending solutions to complex issues
  • Co-ordinating, collating and preparing those regulatory reports which are the responsibility of the Compliance team
  • Understanding the source of information used in collating regulatory returns, to enable appropriate interrogation of information to ensure accuracy; and
  • Interacting with other key functions across the business to build and maintain effective relationships



  • Circa 2-3 years in a monitoring, data or audit role, ideally in a regulated financial services business
  • Strong analytical skills, a logical mindset and the ability to critically analyse data
  • High social intelligence and the ability to present complex information to stakeholders at all levels
