Financial Accountant (Telecommunications)

Barden is delighted to be exclusively working with our client, a highly successful and rapidly growing Irish company who are looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join their evolving finance function. This will be a key hire for the company where you will be working as the number two to the high-caliber Head of Finance on all aspects of finance as the company continues to expand.

They are looking for someone ambitious to take on this key role within finance. You will get the opportunity to report at Board level as part of the role and work closely with the key senior stakeholders on a daily basis to support some key decisions.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Responsible for the month-end reporting process for the group;
• Preparation of consolidated reports for the business;
• Working closely with the auditors on key reporting deadlines;
• Assist with due diligence of future acquisitions by the business;
• Dealing with tax returns, VAT, Intrastat etc.;
• Assist with the preparation of board reports for the group;
• Ad-hoc projects and key involvement in system improvements.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant with 0-3 years’ PQE;
• Ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word;
• Strong technical accounting ability;
• Hardworking, detailed oriented and results focused;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to act on own initiative and as part of a tight-knit team.
