Barden are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-known Irish business to hire a Financial Accountant to join their growing team, initially on a 12-month contract basis. Reporting to a high-calibre Senior Finance Manager, this person will be responsible for managing deadlines for the team, working with various departments to ensure the reporting requirements are met and will get the opportunity to be involved in projects to support the continued growth of the group.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of the month-end and quarter-end reporting processes;
- End-to-end accounting for your assigned entities;
- Completion of variance analysis and related reports for your entities;
- Dealing with the year-end audit and ensuring deadlines are met by the team;
- Support system improvements as required;
- Assisting with Corporate tax, VAT and payroll tasks;
- Participation in ad-hoc projects.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accountant with 1+ years PQE;
- Experience with US GAAP and IFRS is desirable;
- Excellent systems experience;
- Hardworking, detailed oriented and results focused;
- Strong technical skills;
- Motivated self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team with a desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.
