A unique opportunity has opened within a growing accounting firm in Cork. The firm offer a range of services to clients including Audit, Tax and Corporate Finance but they also provide outsourced accounting services to a variety of clients from large multinationals to SMEs. The firm is hiring a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to join the team.
The firm is going through significant growth and this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant with a background in practice or industry to utilise their skills and knowledge in an advisory capacity.
What’s involved in the role?
This role involves assisting clients on all aspects of their finance function, providing solutions as required. The successful candidate will also provide in depth analysis of financial results and act as a business partner to clients, providing financial advice and support.
In particular the Accountant will assist with the following;
- Month-end Management Accounts
- Outsourced CFO
- Sales Support Services
- Financial Reporting
- Book-keeping and VAT
- Company valuations

About the person:
- A qualified accountant, with ideally 2+ years of post qualified experience
- Experience working in an accounting firm and in-house would be an advantage
- Experience in financial modelling and strong Excel would be advatageous
- An ambitious, self-starter who enjoys being client-facing would be best suited to this role
