Here in Barden, we are delighted to be working with one of our multinational clients who have an opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join their close-knit team which is passionate about innovation, collaboration, and excellence in everything they do. As a Payroll Specialist at this company, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll operations for their diverse workforce. Their ideal new team member will have experience processing payroll for at least one country outside of the UK & Ireland, though any specific country experience will be considered. You will join a close-knit team that works collaboratively, supports one another, and strongly believes in cross-training to develop diverse skill sets

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

 

  • Accurately process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and resolve payroll-related queries
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth integration of payroll data.
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and best practices in various countries.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance your payroll expertise.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the payroll process.

 

ABOUT THE PERSON

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, with exposure to processing payroll for at least one country outside of the UK & Ireland.
  • Second language is a strong advantage but not essential
  • Solid understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and strong MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
