Here in Barden, we are delighted to be partnering with a hugely successful retail group in their search to find an Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

Working closely with the finance team, in this role you will be responsible for the accounts administration and will get exposure to the other finance processes within the business. Training will be provided
Approximately 20 minutes West of Cork City.
About the Role:
- Manage and process invoices and credit notes
- Prepare and issue key weekly reports to agreed deadlines
- Process debtor invoices on a monthly basis
- Prepare journals for month end and supporting reconciliations
- Verify large purchase invoices have been approved in line with company policy
- Assist with year-end audit
- Collaborate closely with different member of the finance team
- Cover various accounts processes to cover annual leave
- Follow up on queries within key area
About the Person:
- Previous relevant experience
- Hand up mentality with a great attitude
- Detail Oriented
- Adopt a hands-on approach and assist others when required.
- Good IT skills including – MS Excel, Word, Outlook
