Barden have been exclusively engaged by a US multinational aviation firm in finding an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant for their Dublin office.
This is a key hire for the finance team as they continue to expand. The ideal person will be looking for a new challenge, in a dynamic and ever-changing environmentThis AP Assistant will report directly to the AP Manager in Dublin. This role offers great exposure to senior levels of finance and provides an opportunity to gain experience in a leading aviation firm.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- End to end accounts payable cycle.
- Process 500 multi-currency, multi-entity supplier invoices monthly.
- Ensure validity of end to end process.
- Responsible for full vendor communications.
- Banking responsibilities will include: payment runs, and wire transfers across a number of accounts.
- Reconciliation of monthly company statements.
- Process reimbursement invoices.
- Dealing with month-end close responsibilities across the function.
- Collaborate with wider finance team regarding internal controls.
- Handle all accounts payable queries, both internally and externally.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Minimum of 2 years in an ever-changing AP role.
- College level degree, ideally in Accounting & Finance related area.
- Excellent communications skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task with the wider finance function.
- Ideal systems exposure: Outlook, Word, Excel (VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables), PowerPoint and other ERP.
- A person who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-national environment.
