Barden is delighted to assist our client, a growing Irish company, to identify an AP Specialist for their finance team. This role would suit someone who enjoys having ownership over their day-to-day and working in a high growth environment.
This is a varied role & will require someone to have end-to-end AP experience as you will oversee this process. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role would be suitable for a professional looking to gain further experience in industry and accelerate their learning.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Oversee accounts payable processes;
- Creditor reconciliation;
- Setting up payments;
- Petty Cash management;
- Processing of employee expenses;
- Building and developing supplier relationships;
- Assisting with month end reconciliations and reporting;
- Focusing on continuous improvements of internal controls;
- Working closely with and supporting other members of the finance team.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- 2 years’ in a similar position;
- Ability to work with a team and individually;
- Strong Excel and systems skills;
- Growth mindset & high attention to detail;
- Ability to work efficiently whilst under pressure;
- Ability to communication internally with all levels of the business;
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, ever-changing environment;
- Have an analytical mindset, focused on improving processes.
