Barden is delighted to partner exclusively with a highly respected, rapidly expanding organisation in Dublin to identify a motivated and detail- oriented Accounts Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who is looking to further develop their skills within a collaborative and dynamic finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and intercompany account reconciliations
- Manage PAYE, VAT, and payroll control account reconciliations
- Post monthly payroll and PAYE journals
- Coordinate internal credit card and Revolut payment processes
- Support preparation and submission of VAT, VIES, and Intrastat returns
- Assist with US sales tax compliance in collaboration with external accountants
- Generate monthly sales, payroll, and cost reports to support month-end closing activities
About You
You’re a numbers-driven professional with a passion for accuracy and an eye for detail. You enjoy taking ownership of tasks, thrive in a team-focused environment, and are always looking for ways to improve processes and efficiencies.
You will ideally have:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant role
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant diploma (or working towards one)
- Part ACCA qualification (or a strong desire to pursue ACCA exams)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and overall IT proficiency
- Experience with Microsoft Navision or Sage (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong organisational skills
