THE ROLE
The organisation is looking to hire an Assistant Company Secretary to join a small company secretarial team on a maternity leave cover of circa 12 months. This is will be a highly visible position with exposure to senior executives and the Board. Some of the main responsibilities are:
- Providing support on day-to-day company secretarial matters and ad hoc projects;
- Managing the statutory accounts approval and all required filings for all subsidiaries, as well as maintaining its statutory records and registers;
- Managing the administration of the Group’s share schemes;
- Proving support and assistance to the internal committees;
- Supporting on projects such as company reorganisations, strike off and dissolutions.
THE PERSON
- ICSA qualified or part-qualified or have a legal qualification;
- 3+ years’ experience as a company secretary or in corporate governance in Ireland, ideally in a plc or with exposure to plc clients;
- Excellent technical knowledge of Irish company law and corporate governance;
- Experience dealing with senior executives and Board on a regular basis.
