Barden has been engaged by the Director of a large family office in Geneva top help identify an Associate to join their growing team. The Associate role involves close and regular interaction with all members of the Client Relationship Management Team as well as Portfolio Managers, Tax advisers, Trustee companies, external clients and business contacts.
The individual will be tasked with assisting the Relationship Managers in providing support and high-level administration while they learn the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Client Relationship Management
– Administration and record keeping / client reporting / payments
– Assistance in preparing business trips, meetings and presentations for clients
– Receipt, clarification, monitor and process all incoming client orders and requests
– Assisting in the quarter end reporting process for management (statistics) and clients (reports, fees). Generate periodical statistics, evaluations and analysis and client reporting
Investment Management
– Support and assistance with trade execution
– Maintaining portfolio matrices as well as preparing recurring and ad hoc investment decision process files
– Preparing ad-hoc client updates and investment proposals
– Handling ad hoc client requests
Operations
– Be the channel of communication between Front Office and the various Group Operations teams
– Lead client on-boarding process including KYC/AML diligence
– Ensure internal databases are up-to-date
ABOUT THE PERSON
– Will suit a newly qualified accountant with an interest in developing a career in the private client space
– Knowledge of the financial markets in general and the Investment/Relationship Management industry in particular, preferably experience in a similar position/environment
– Knowledge of compliance rules and procedures
– Well organized with the ability to remain calm when under pressure
– Flexibility
– Delivers excellent client service
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability and maturity to deal effectively with all levels of staff and management within the Group, third party professionals as well as demanding clients
– Precise with strong attention to detail
– Ability to provide support to more than one Relationship Manager
– Shares information, is helpful and co-operative
