Benefits Specialist (Remote)

They are currently seeking a highly skilled Benefits Administrator to join their team in Cork. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and managing various employee benefits programs, including medical, disability, life insurance, and retirement plans. You will be the main point of contact for benefits-related issues, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Responsibility for ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and policies, staying up to date with benefit trends, and being the main point of contact for employees with benefit-related questions or issues.
• Managing and maintaining an online benefits portal, auditing and processing vendor billing, and working with benefit vendors to resolve any issues.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• The person in this role would need to have experience in benefits administration, strong data analysis skills, proficiency in HRIS tools, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise and problem solve
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, as well as effective interpersonal skills necessary to advise, counsel, recommend and approve actions on a variety of benefits issues.
