Barden have been exclusively retained by one of the largest employers in the South-East to recruit a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to their senior leadership team.

This role is based in Wexford and would be ideal for a senior finance professional living in the region or someone who wants to move out of Dublin to a senior position in a stunning seaside town.

As CFO, you will lead an already established finance team, oversee financial management and corporate performance, and will play a lead role in strategy development and implementation.

  • Direct and oversee the financial planning and analysis functions of the organisation
  • Direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries
  • Create forecasts predicting future growth
  • Responsible for providing monthly financial reports to the CEO and the Board
  • Advising on both financial and finance related business issues to the CEO and Board
  • Assist with client tenders
  • Liaise with key stakeholders
  • Obtain funding
  • Working with department heads to analyse financial data and craft budgets
  • Make recommendations on everything from supply chain to marketing based on fiscal insights and industry knowledge
  • Oversee, improve, and mentor staff in your department
  • Responsibility for P&L, cashflow and balance Sheet
  • Driving continuous improvement



  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA) with a minimum of 8 years industry/manufacturing experience in a senior role
  • Up to date knowledge of current financial and accounting computer applications
