Barden has partnered with the Head of Commercial Finance in a leading FMCG to identify a commercially minded accountant to take on a broad role that will work closely with one of their key business units. This is a key role that will support the business unit on a daily basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Reporting on performance across key sites on a monthly /quarterly basis to ensure adherence to budgets/forecasts.
- Building relationships with business unit leadership teams to investigate cost variances and collaborate on strategic business initiatives.
- Provide relevant & insightful information & analysis to key stakeholders around all compliance for the business unit.
- Support the leadership team to achieve sales, profit & cost targets and advise on trends or potential risks.
- Deliver supporting analysis for forecasts and budgets for assigned areas throughout the year.
- Works with the wider Finance team to ensure alignment on the Finance objectives, budgets & targets and compliance.
- Deliver on financial reporting requirements, i.e., forecast, budget, strategy plan, and other ad hoc reporting requirements arising from projects.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified accountant with 1/2 + years PQE;
- Financial analysis experience is an advantage but not essential;
- Excellent attention to detail, numeric and analytical skills;
- Process, systems and controls focused;
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
(NOTE: This company has a very fluid WFH policy and there is only a need to attend their office in Dublin one day per week. If you are looking for remote work, with an element of working closely with the team this might just work for you).
