Looking for a role where you can go beyond the numbers and make a real impact on business performance? Here’s your chance to step into an early-career, commercial-facing finance role that offers genuine involvement, visibility and room to grow.

Barden is proud to partner with a market-leading organisation in Cork to help identify a motivated Commercial Finance Analyst — someone with a strong interest in commercial finance, a collaborative mindset and the curiosity to learn how finance supports strategic decision-making.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to how a business really operates, work closely with experienced finance and non-finance professionals, and develop the skills that will shape your future career.

“We’re looking for finance professionals who don’t just crunch numbers – we want people who think, act proactively and contribute to positive change.” – Head of Commercial Finance

Why this role?

  • You’ll support senior stakeholders and gain visibility across a broad range of business activity.
  • You’ll be involved in real commercial decisions and learn how to influence them through financial insight.
  • This organisation is known for investing in people — a fantastic platform for long-term career progression.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with business case development and provide financial input into new initiatives.
  • Analyse financial performance and support the preparation of insightful reports and recommendations.
  • Help prepare presentations for senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Support non-finance colleagues in understanding the financial drivers of their area.
  • Get involved in wider team and group-level projects where needed.

About you:

  • Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3+ years PQE.
  • Strong Excel skills and a good grasp of financial systems.
  • Comfortable analysing data and explaining your insights in a clear, business-friendly way.
  • Eager to learn, collaborate and take ownership where appropriate.
