You will support the data protection business with your drafting and negotiation skills as well as excellent attention to detail. You will be a key member in a small customer facing team and be able to address complex issues in an efficient manner. This role can be worked remotely anywhere in Ireland.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Drafting and negotiating Data Processing Agreements on behalf of our Clients
- Assisting our Clients in the development of their policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the GDPR
- Dealing with negotiation of Data Processing Agreements with suppliers/customers on behalf of the client
- Breach Management – reviewing and reporting on GDPR breaches for Clients
- Preparation and review of correspondence, legal agreements, briefing documents, reports and presentations
- Dealing with client’s queries and ensuring that such queries are handled in a professional, courteous and prompt manner
- Drawing up Client Agreements and Statements of Work for signature using e-signature platform
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Around 5 years’ experience within a professional services environment and a Law Degree
- Relevant experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements including Data Processing Agreements
- Good knowledge of Data Protection legislation particularly GDPR
- Willingness to grow within the organisation
- Team player, organised and strong commercial awareness are essential
- A high degree of discretion and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential data;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
