Barden are proud to have been retained by an Irish plc with a significant US footprint to help identify a Corporate Accountant. The successful candidate will assist the Corporate Controller to produce accurate financial information and, after a stint in Dublin HQ, will join the growing finance team in the US.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Primary responsibilities are to focuses on the following areas;
- Maintain and manage tangible and intangible fixed assets register
- Maintain CAPEX schedules for additions, disposals, and depreciations
- Accounting for fixed asset movements in line with IFRS and group policy
- Capex reporting to group finance team
- Assist in annual asset impairment process
- Partner with the external auditors for completion of the audit
- Compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Qualified Accountant
- Prior experience in IFRS is preferable
- Experience in a high volume retail or FMCG environment preferred
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office software are essential
- Experiences in using SAGE is plus but not required
