They are looking for someone to come in and take on a SecOps-oriented role where they will bridge the gap between the organisation’s IT Operations and IT Security. This will be a Hybrid role, and the ideal person can be based in Ireland (ideally near Dublin) or the UK.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- A key responsibility will be to bridge the gap between IT Infrastructure Engineers and Security Operations. This will involve deploying engineering security controls in various locations, including on-premises, in the cloud, on servers, and other environments.
- You will also be responsible for the administration and reporting of information security risks, encompassing cyber risks and the safeguarding of personal data across all business locations.
- You will assist in assessing and managing risks to the security of information, assets, and personnel, including conducting cyber risk reviews and developing mitigation plans.
- There will be a need for you to design, build, implement, and support enterprise-class security systems while aligning organizational security strategy and infrastructure with the overall business and technology strategy.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- The ideal person will have solid experience in Information Security, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and MS 365 Cloud Technologies.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CASP+, or industry qualifications such as the MCP qualification are highly desirable.
- You are proficient in managing security tools, solutions, and reporting, including project management responsibilities.
- Any management or leadership experience incorporating both information systems and information security expertise would be a plus.
