Barden are delighted to partner with a Global Professional Services firm in their search for a ‘Cloud Architecture and IT Automation SME’ to join their team in Dublin.
This role will sit within the Financial Services consulting practice which leads large scale enterprise change programs for clients in the financial services sector. In this role, you would place yourself at the heart of a high-energy, agile team that is committed to helping clients navigate the ever-changing Cloud landscape.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Cloud Solutions Leadership: Lead the design, implementation, and migration of financial sector-specific cloud services and infrastructure.
- Client Collaboration and Expert Guidance: Collaborate with clients to grasp business requirements and goals, offering expert advice on effective cloud adoption strategies.
- Comprehensive Cloud Architecture: Develop a robust cloud architecture aligning with industry best practices and client needs, covering infrastructure, networking, security, scalability, and availability.
- Cloud Readiness Assessment and Planning: Conduct cloud readiness assessments, formulate strategies for cost-effective, high-performance cloud adoption, and execute migration plans, including workload assessments, application refactoring, data migration, and post-migration validation.
- Cross-functional Integration and Leadership: Collaborate with diverse teams to seamlessly integrate cloud services into existing IT infrastructure. Provide technical leadership and mentorship, staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in cloud technologies for application to client engagements.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Extensive experience in cloud services and infrastructure, specializing in design, build, and migration, especially within financial services or related sectors.
- Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud, with hands-on implementation and management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, networking, security, scalability, and availability best practices.
- Track record of successfully delivering complex cloud projects, covering adoption, infrastructure design, and migration.
- Technical proficiency in cloud migration methodologies, IT infrastructure components, compliance, and security.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, including team management and mentoring.
