An opportunity has arisen for a tax professional to join the EMEA tax team of a fast growing tech business as EMEA tax controller.

About the position 

  • Responsible for handling tax matters across all tax heads (including Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, VAT, Employment Taxes) for a diverse allocation of legal entities in the EMEA region
  • Providing support on annual tax provisions and tax disclosures for inclusion in statutory financial statements
  • Handling all aspects of tax audits and controversy for assigned entities for all tax heads, as required
  • Manage relationships with external tax agents and advisors
  • Liaising with the Treasury Department in respect of tax collection/payment forecasts and entity funding requirements
  • Interacting and collaborating with multiple stakeholders within the global organization, as required
  • Involvement in critical group tax planning projects, group reorganizations, financing initiatives, research into changes in tax laws across the region
  • Supporting the preparation and filing of transfer pricing documentation in the region
  • Apply a mindset of continuous development and contributing to the improvement of internal policies and procedures

About the person 

  • Qualified tax professional with at least 2 years of pqe gained in a tax practice or an in-house tax department of a multinational company
  • Strong communication skills, with a team player mindset
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
