Here in Barden we are delighted to be partnering with a leading, cutting edge firm in Cork, in their search for a Finance Analyst (part qualified/qualified by experience) to come on board.
I this role you will work alongside an ambitious supportive team and you will partner with multi-nationals as well as established and growing Irish companies, institutions, and leading insurance firms.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Working within the Finance team, the role consists of 2 primary functions:
- Providing support in relation to the financial administration
- Proving financial control to the Firm in general, in the core areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, and other finance elements
Key tasks:
- Processing of receipts to client account
- Posting receipts in payment of our invoices
- Analysis and allocation of credit card transactions
- Processing of cheque request for both client and office accounts
- Processing of cheque lodgements
- Assisting with bank reconciliations
- Posting of petty cash, court fees, land registry transactions etc.
- Adhoc finance project work.
- Support other members of the finance team as required
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- You will have at least 1-2 years’ experience in a Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant/Part-qualified Accountant or Finance Analyst role.
- Experience in a professional services environment would be an advantage
- Strong excel skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and working to deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Team player
