Barden have been engaged by one of the worlds most recognised brands to identify a Finance Project Manager. The organisation is embarking on a series of major finance systems enhancement initiatives over the coming years, and this role will lead the delivery of those projects, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives of both the Finance function and the wider business.
I am looking to chat with talent who have a strong project management background that is coupled with significant exposure in the finance space. You will be someone who can seamlessly partner with global teams navigating complex projects. Your partnership with finance as well as other cross functional project teams will be key in driving on critical projects within time and budget.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Lead and deliver end-to-end PLC project management outputs, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), detailed project plans, milestones, and key deliverables to support the successful implementation and adoption of new systems and processes
- Provide clear, concise, and timely updates on overall project status, including progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and recommended actions
- Act as the primary liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring business requirements are clearly understood and delivered; proactively identify, manage, and resolve issues impacting key milestones, timelines, and functionality
- Identify and track major project milestones, ensuring risks and challenges are addressed early to maintain delivery against agreed objectives
- Partner closely with project team members and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive change management, communication, transition, and testing plans to ensure readiness and successful adoption
- Support organisational readiness by ensuring both business and system impacts are fully considered and addressed throughout the project lifecycle
- Bring experience working within large, global organisations, demonstrating a strong global mindset and sensitivity to cultural differences
- Operate effectively in a complex, virtual, and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities independently while engaging stakeholders at all levels to deliver projects on time and within budget
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- At least 5 years plus in a similar role whether that be in an IT or finance driven capacity
- SAP financial exposure or hands on experience is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Proven experience working closely with technical teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Experience leading and coordinating diverse global teams
- Professional finance or accounting qualification would be advantageous but not a requirement
