Barden are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a growing Irish tech company who are looking for a Recently Qualified Accountant to join their Finance team as a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting stage for the company given the level of growth and this opportunity will allow broad exposure across financial accounting, month end, financial analysis, budgeting, tax and projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end management accounts.
- Oversee monthly financial accounting, including journal preparation and reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain relationships with financial institutions.
- identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements in current processes.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting process.
- Oversee tax compliance and reporting.
- Assist in acquisition accounting for any future acquisitions.
- Assist with the system implementation project.
- Ad hoc projects as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional, with 0-2 years PQE;
- Open on background of training.
- Strong communicator, highly organised and ability to multi-task;
- Ability to problem-solve;
- Excellent MS office skills, particularly Excel.
