Barden is delighted to assist our client, a successful Irish business, to identify a Part Qualified Accountant to join their team based in Dublin City (hybrid). This opportunity would be suitable for someone who has a minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent role with potential for growth within the business. This person will have internal progression pathways and exposure to senior members of finance on a regular basis.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- Month-end reporting.
- Preparation of the financial statements.
- Monthly reconciliations for GL account for multiple entities.
- Assisting and liaising with internal and external auditors.
- Responsible for accruals and prepayments.
- Maintaining the internal controls within the company.
- Maintaining fixed asset registers for multiple entities.
- Assistance with ad hoc projects as required
- Bank reconciliations.
- Payment runs.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analysis of revenue.
- Working closely with the wider finance team daily.
- Involvement in projects across finance where required.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment.
- Accounting & Finance-related degree.
- Advanced IT skills, specifically Excel.
- Background in a similar industry is desirable but not essential.
