Financial Analyst (Manufacturing)

A key employer in Cork has retained Barden to identify an ambitious financial analyst to join their expanding business. Working within the company’s global finance centre and reporting directly to the high-calibre FP&A Manager, this person will get the opportunity to work as part of a global team and gain strong exposure to the senior stakeholders of the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for:

• Preparation and consolidation of the regional FP&A business planning process
• Business partner with key senior stakeholders across the business to ensure reporting is timely and accurate
• Responsibility for delivering initial analysis of business results
• Assist with preparation of the Group’s Budget and Forecast process
• Analysis of financial trends which will support key decision making for the business
• Responsible for building key relationships with Global teams
• Delivering analysis for the global business and preparing related reports
• Support the team in the development of future budgets and forecasts
• Any other duties as required

ABOUT THE PERSON

• 2+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong Excel and systems experience, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities coupled with integrity and a high degree of professionalism
• Enthusiastic committed self-starter with a proactive, hands on approach to problem solving
