Barden are delighted to have been asked to act on behalf of the Group MD and FD to support the appointment of a Financial Controller to oversee the finance and reporting function for a significant strategic business unit of a large PLC. Leading a ten person team, this could be a career defining role for the right person as the organisation has a strong track record in terms of supporting peoples professional development.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Ensure adherence to Internal controls and policies
- Own the month end process and reporting
- Prepare budget and forecasts
- Produce cash flow statements and reporting
- Support the FD in the short-long term Business plan
- Prepare and report on the Finance KPIs
- Manage annual statutory reporting and audit requirements
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- 5 – 10 years PQE
- Might suit someone with prior Industry experience, or suit someone with experience in Practice looking to move into Industry
- People management experience desirable but not essential
