Barden have been asked to act on behalf of the Group Finance Director of a high-growth distribution and energy group to identify an ambitious Financial Controller to join their emerging team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role oversees monthly management reporting of companies within the Group. The role is responsible for external and statutory reporting, tax declaration, and audit management, and is a key contributor to consolidation of monthly accounts. Managing a close knit team of 6 .
ABOUT THE PERSON
- The successful person will be a Big 4/Top 10 qualified accountant (or equivalent) with 3-5 years experience in an equivalent role, ideally with some experience in the energy industry.
- Proven experience in the areas of financial planning & analysis, finance business partnering, management accounting and financial control.
- Team management experience a strong advantage.
