Barden are delighted to be working exclusively with a Cork based entertainment group to identify a Financial Controller. As the business goes from strength to strength the leadership team are looking for someone with an energetic attitude, technically strong and commercially astute to continue the growth journey with them.
It’s an intriguing role for someone who wants to be close to decision making in a business and will touch on all aspects of Finance. The role will report to an impressive Finance Director with a strong commercial background.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Responsibilities will include:
– Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and year end reporting, investigation of variances and overall results to assist business performance
– Contribute towards the strategies for driving revenue growth and cost efficiencies
– Responsibility for the preparation and coordination of the budgeting and forecasting process
– Act as a key Finance Business Partner to the business leaders, assisting in the operational management of their business units and the provision of financial support
– Provide strong balance sheet and working capital management
– Implement robust financial, controls and reporting systems
– Take on a lead role in the preparation of statutory accounts and management of the external audit
ABOUT THE PERSON:
The successful candidate will have:
– Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE
– Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
– Proven ability to influence at all levels in the organization
– Excellent commercial acumen
– Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
– Organised and efficient personality, positive attitude
