Our client is a successful Irish retail business based in Dublin. They are looking for a qualified accountant to join their team as an FP&A Accountant.
The business offers very flexible working arrangements, 2 days a week in the office, the rest is up to you.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role provides an excellent step into a high caliber FP&A team.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Head of FP&A in preparing and coordinating the quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts;
- Perform on-going KPI analysis for a range of business lines;
- Business partnering with operational managers to develop business cases and ensure flow of financial information;
- Oversee the preparation of various financial models and insights packs to be used by key stakeholders;
- Continually identify areas for process improvement;
- Ad-hoc projects as they arise.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified accounting professional with 2/3 years post qualified experience;
- Prior industry experience in a commercial role preferred;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Flexible, confident and organised team player;
- Self-starter and comfortable in a fast-paced environment;
- Advanced excel user and strong system skills preferred.
