Fund Accounting Supervisor/Manager

Barden FS are delighted to be working with a leading global investment bank based in Ireland. They are focused on providing top-quality financial services to their clients and are currently looking for a Supervisor/Manager to join their growing team in Dublin. This person will be responsible for overseeing a small team of experienced fund accounting professionals, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of NAVs and acting as the main point of contact with clients’ questions and queries.

About the Role:

• Ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of daily and periodic NAVs.
• Acting as the main point of contact; liaising with several numerous offshore service teams, external partners, and clients.
• Serve as primary point of escalation for internal/external staff queries, and develop/manage process, productivity, and quality standards.
• Maintaining and developing of new business relationships, as well as identifying and implementing necessary service, systems, and process enhancements.
• Relationship building between various internal teams and mentoring junior members with regards to understanding the relevant financial instruments, fund structures, regulatory requirements, and funds industry.
• Lead projects and change requests to optimize operational efficiency and improve quality.

About the Person:

• Around 5 years’ experience in fund accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area – business, finance, accounting, etc.
• Previous supervisory/managerial experience (preferred).
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well both on a team and independently.
