Group Accounting Manager- Growing Irish company, Hybrid

Barden have been exclusively engaged by a rapidly growing Irish property company to introduce a group accounting manager to their business. 

Based in the city centre (but working in a hybrid capacity), the successful candidate will work closely alongside the FC and the CFO to help drive the business forward.

The Finance team is a high-performing, collaborative team, made up of friendly, self-driven achievers seeking more than just a traditional finance role. This would be the perfect role for someone looking to take the next step on their financial path who wants to progress and grow in an expanding company.

They are looking for self-starter who is bright, technically strong, analytical and decisive with excellent leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Helping to create a world class finance team through process improvements and process implementation across the European portfolio.
• Supporting, managing & developing team members
• Simplifying and streamlining group structure
• Oversee audit in a multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction environment
• Responsible for risk management and internal audit
• Oversee tax, ensuring that all tax and regulations are adhered to
• Ownership of our European entities 
• Support project design and implementation

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant from a large Accountancy firm with 3-4 years industry experience
• Excellent Academics. 
• Ability to work in a growing environment
• Self-starter who can bring previous experience to the team
• Driven individual with ambition to progress to leadership roles
• Comfortable working in a varied role
• Excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience using Microsoft Navision & BI360 would be advantageous
• Strong collaborator
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
