An opportunity for a group treasury executive has arisen to join the group finance team of an Irish plc based in Dublin south.  An exciting career opportunity as you will work closely with an experienced finance team gaining broad exposure to the business.  As group treasury executive, you will support all treasury operations across the group while ensuring funds are in place to meet its ongoing business needs and requirements.  

About the position 

  • Managing and reporting on cash and debt positions 
  • Managing and reporting on foreign currency exposures including hedging strategies
  • Support key treasury and funding aspects of acquisitions and growth opportunities across the group
  • Support the finance team in managing financing/refinancing activity in the capital markets 
  • Maintain and develop the treasury systems of the group ensuring operational efficiencies 
  • Manage the intergroup loan portfolio including monitoring loan positions against budget and forecast and processing interest flows 
  • Work with the finance team on group management accounts, interim and annual reports to ensure treasury matters are accurately reflected
  • Develop strong relationships with other business units to understand the financial and treasury implications of commercial operations and development strategies 
  • Involvement in other ad hoc projects for the group 

About the person 

  • At least 3-4 years of treasury experience within an international organization
  • Experience in cash management and forecasting, working capital management, foreign exchange and hedging 
  • Strong systems experience, ideally with experience using a treasury management system within a controlled environment of a large organisation
  • Analytical, strong attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of treasury data
  • An ability & desire to continuously develop, innovate and improve processes 
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable working with all levels and with a diverse range of stakeholders of an international organization 
  • Excellent team player who can work within a collaborative environment, whilst being able to take own initiative on certain matters 
  • A good sense of humour, positive with a flexible approach to work
