As the first corporate treasury hire, this is an exciting opportunity for a Group Treasury Manager – offering scope to develop and manage the group treasury function of a very successful Irish multinational.
This is a broad corporate treasury position where you will support and manage the group treasury function across Cash Management and Reporting, FX Risk Management, Intercompany, Systems Implementation and Process Improvements.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will gain significant commercial exposure while supporting key decisions across the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Drive the implementation of a Treasury Management System – selection, implementation and testing;
- Oversee cash balances and drive cash management optimisation projects and strategies;
- Maintain & improve actual cash reporting and forecasting procedures;
- Propose strategies to enhance returns on cash;
- Manage intercompany balances and agreements;
- Support FX deals for the wider group while mainlining controls and procedures;
- Advise on opportunities to further develop the use of supply chain finance;
- Resolve internal and external audit queries;
- Drive efficiencies and automation;
- Ad hoc duties as required.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- At least five years corporate treasury experience;
- Strong technical skills, particularly across hedging, cash and debt management;
- Great commercial awareness;
- Ability to work on own initiative with strong attention to detail;
- A natural problem solver and self-starter.
