ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Our client is an Irish headquartered PLC with growing operations outside of Ireland and significant expansion plans. We are working together to recruit a Head of Group Financial Reporting for their growing team based in South Dublin.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Financial Reporting:
- Oversee the Group Financial Reporting function.
- Oversee accounting for and monthly reporting of all group companies.
- Lead preparation of monthly Group consolidated management reporting.
- Manage period end close and provision of accurate information and analysis for board and shareholder reporting, with focus on optimising month end close process.
- Ensure the Company meets all public company reporting deadlines, including publication of Annual Report and Interim Results.
- Manage the Audit process and timelines, ensuring that consolidated and statutory financial statements are produced in line with relevant accounting standards and all areas of judgement are documented for the audit committee.
- Evolve the department by designing and executing process improvement initiatives and best practice that will enhance maturity of the function.
- Support the CFO and wider Finance team on additional finance projects and ad hoc support as required throughout the year.
- Lead and develop the existing Group Financial Reporting team and enhance capability to meet future long-term needs of the finance team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including Internal Audit, FP&A, Capital Expenditure, Business Unit Finance Teams, Investor Relations, Treasury and Tax etc.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
Education, Qualifications & Experience :
- A qualified and technically minded accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with minimum 10-12 years post qualification experience.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a finance leadership role.
- Senior leadership and reporting experience in a large-scale leading multinational company, PLC experience an advantage.
- Proven people management experience with ability to lead, influence and build appropriate career and development plans for a growing team of finance professionals.
