An opportunity has arisen for an indirect tax manager to join the finance team of a major international group, located in Dublin south. A hybrid working policy exisits within the group along with a good work life balance. This is a key position for the Irish business and as indirect tax manager, you will have excellent exposure across the business, making it a very commercial role.

About the position

Responsibility for all Indirect Tax related compliance obligations (review role only)

Manage cross border movements from VAT and Indirect Taxes perspective as applicable.

Review internal key controls related to Indirect Taxes.

In house technical expert on VAT matters

Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, such as Finance, Tax Authorities, and external auditors.

Identifying, communicating and implementing relevant changes in legislation and policy which will impact the business from an Indirect Tax perspective.

Identify, develop and implement process improvements.

Indirect Tax lead in all M&A due diligence activity.
- Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
About the person
- Qualified CTA/CTC and/or accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a professional tax/VAT environment.
- Ability to communicate and confidently interact effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated and ambitious individual with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to direct and drive success of both compliance and advisory requirements
