The Role:
- Work in collaboration with portfolio managers in the day to day management of the fund of funds to deliver positive investment results for fund of funds and end clients.
- Assist with tasks related to fund selection and the evaluation of managers in addition to asset allocation and portfolio construction
- Plan, build and implementation of trades
- Conduct due diligence for the funds, both operational and investment, with assistance from wider team
- Liaise with external fund manager to complete and assess due diligence questionnaires and other relevant due diligence and monitoring activities.
- Help with monthly reporting tasks when required, positioning, performance etc
- Work with other teams to help with the collation and preparation of documentation for fund launches, investment committees and board meetings
- Help improve and make processes more efficient
The Person
- 3 years+ experience in the investment management industry would be a plus
- Educated to university level and CFA desirable
- Someone who is passionate and curious about financial markets and investments
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
