Barden are partnering with a leading Investment Manager to help identify an Investment Compliance Manager to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and monitoring of the compliance frameworks for the company, which will include advising and assisting colleagues as required.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a team of 3 Compliance Specialists
- Implementing a Compliance plan to identify any deficiencies and monitor actions to address them
- Ensuring compliance with EU and US regulatory requirements, along with the compliance and operational risk frameworks and plans
- Providing advice and clarification to the business in relation to regulation
- Supporting the Senior Compliance Manager in the assessment and implementation of new regulatory requirements relevant to the business
- Developing strong internal relationships with the various business units
ABOUT THE PERSON
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant professional experience working in a Compliance/Risk oversight role in a Financial Services background
- A related qualification / experience and/or other financial related qualifications (e.g. compliance qualification, etc)
- The ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders when necessary
- Strong analytical skills
- High level of communication skills, written and oral
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Word, Powerpoint and Excel
