Barden are working with a Global Asset Management company who are looking for an Investment Risk Analyst to join their growing team in Dublin. This focus of this position is assessing and overview of investment portfolios, and conducting market research. 

You will work closely with the fund management team and support and develop strategies and products for investors.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Overseeing the integrity of investment offers and conducting a systematic assessment of all aspects of investment and portfolio risk.
  • Providing market research and mapping of customer demand.
  • Creating research and business cases that enable the matching of market demand with investment capability to support the development of strategically relevant investment products across the business.
  • Prepare regular reports such as fund liquidity dashboards and risk metrics to support the business.
  • Contribute to a systematic process to assess investment capabilities, investment risk practices and risk positioning of portfolios.
  • Evaluate market opportunities through assessment and analysis across all asset classes.
  • Support the team’s tailored investment product research that helps to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Identify, summarise and escalate fund risks based on quantitative information from multiple sources.
  • Perform risk and performance analyses of investment capabilities across equity, fixed income and multi-asset portfolios.

ABOUT THE PERSON:  

  • Approximately 5 years’ experience within an investment/quantitative/finance-based role within Financial Services environment.
  • Market knowledge of equity and fixed income markets and understanding of risks and investment techniques and processes.
  • Knowledge of asset management and fund structures, including UCITS, would be beneficial
  • Additional programming and coding skills would be seen as a positive.
