Liability Claims Handler [Cork/Dublin]

Barden have been engaged by a leading multinational provider of risk management and insurance services to identify their next Liability Claims Handler. 

“This role will give you exposure to a host of blue chip multinational insured’s where you will play a key role in managing their EL, PL, Product Liability cases.”  – Head of Claims

THE ROLE

• Pro actively collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organisation to manage a large portfolio of EL, PL and Product Liability files. 
• Coordinate risk managers, surveyors, forensic engineers, medical professionals and legal professionals in order to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Managing key claims handling enquiry; coverage determination, quantum analysis, legal liability assessment, and providing a consistently strong standard of customer service.
• Maintenance of best practice procedures for intermediate to high value Complex claims, consistent with global best practice.
• Timely, accurate and customer focused claim resolution, minimising indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expense for claims of medium to high complexity
• Effective communication of key medium to high Complexity claims and portfolio messages to internal stakeholders and external stakeholders.

THE PERSON

• APA/CIP a minimum competency.
• Commercial Claims or Personal Injury claims experience essential.
