Barden is supporting a well-established Dublin City law firm with identifying a litigation solicitor to join the team, covering an upcoming maternity leave.
The ideal start date would be in June but the firm can accommodate a more immediate start in May. The contract will likely run until the end of the year but it might depend on how busy the workload is when it expires, so there is scope for extension and potentially for permanency.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful individual will work on a very broad caseload, of which circa 50% is personal injuries insurance defence, as well as insolvency, commercial litigation, employment law disputes, medical negligence, arbitration, etc.
ABOUT THE PERSON
You will be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE in some of the types of litigation mentioned above, ideally in insurance defence. However, the firm is also happy to consider solicitors with a plaintiff litigation background who are interested in gaining more exposure to defence work.
