Barden have been retained by a rapidly scaling Multichannel Marketing Communications to help identify a new Mid-level .NET Developer to join their expanding team. Working in a hybrid capacity in Cork the successful person will work closely with functions, such as business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies. The successful person will be involved in all phases of the full systems life cycle.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Coding with limited direction, develop code, test, debug, maintain, modify, and install moderately complex software programs. Applies structured programming techniques and adhere to coding standards.
- Develop unit test and test scripts; performs unit, performance, and regression tests. Assists Quality Assurance testing team and Business Analysts/Process Analysts.
- Independently analyse and document test results to ensure that programs are meeting the technical requirements. Analyses moderately complex business requirements and performs feasibility studies for projects typically of a medium scope and complexity.
- Develop technical specifications, unit tests to the SDLC, for stand-alone programs or systems. Prepare concise internal program documentation on program development and revisions.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Third level degree in a related field
- Proven experience with .NET Development – C# .NET/ASP.NET, MVC, CI/CD, and Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL
- A Good understanding of information/data management concepts. You must be able to effectively analyse and solve non-routine work related problems.
- Willingness to occasionally travel and spend time on site.
- Periodic on-call support of production deployments.
