Operations & Outsourcing Assistant

Barden FS have been retained by an up-and-coming ManCo, whose mission is to develop a one-stop solution for trading, investment, and payment services. Driven by the desire to create value for their clients, this recently new addition to the Dublin market is looking for an Operations & Outsourcing Assistant to join their growing team. This person will be responsible for providing operational support and outsourcing, process management as well as assisting in general back/middle-office functions.

About the Role:

• Acting as the first point of contact with the investment managers, custodian, and fund administrators in relation to any issues regarding settlement, invoicing of the funds and cash flows, dividend distribution and any other corporate actions.
• Liaising with internal and external parties to manage and ensure the end-to-end operational set-up requirements for static data, notification, filings, etc. for new fund launches.
• Assist in the periodic review of NAVs, EMIR Reporting and Ongoing Charges.
• Collect, review, and validate fund expense fees – ensuring compliance with company’s General Expense Budgets – and manage communications with investment managers and service providers for accurate and timely payments
• Coordinate the day-to-day administration of the funds and provide general support for the company’s general administrative affairs.

About the Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area – business, finance, accounting, economics, etc.
• Relevant Asset Management experience (preferred).
• Relevant Banking, Operations, Middle Office, Fund Accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of financial products and financial markets.
