Barden is delighted to partner with a high-growth, Irish-founded company in their search for a Payroll Specialist to join their finance team in Dublin. This is a hybrid role, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.
As the company continues to scale, they are seeking a detail-oriented payroll professional to take ownership of payroll processing across multiple international locations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to refine payroll operations, drive process improvements, and work closely with both finance and HR teams.
The Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees and contractors across international locations
- Work with external payroll providers to ensure compliance with local tax and labour laws
- Manage payroll components, including bonuses, commissions, statutory payments, and benefits
- Administer employee benefit programs, ensuring correct payroll deductions
- Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support payroll-related projects, including process automation and system improvements
- Be the go-to person for payroll queries across the business
The Ideal Person
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions
- Confident using payroll software and Excel
- A problem-solver with an interest in automation and process improvements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
