Barden is delighted to assist a leading insurance company, based in the Dublin West, to identify a Payroll Specialist to join their supportive and close-knit finance team.
This opportunity will offer someone to have a hands-on approach in a busy and fast-paced environment with responsibility for delivering payroll across the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Process the monthly end-to-end payroll or circa 200 employees;
- Responding to payroll queries from employees in a timely matter;
- Ensuring payroll returns are completed accurately and on a timely basis before submission to Revenue;
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual PAYE returns;
- Process starters/leavers;
- Ensure payroll compliance with internal policies and procedures;
- Assist finance with relevant payroll reporting;
- Ensure that all payroll records are filed correctly;
- Assist with ad hoc projects.
ABOUT THE PERSON
- 5 years’ payroll experience desirable;
- IPASS Qualified;
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables/VLOOKUP’s);
- Ability to work on own initiative with strong attention to detail;
- A high level of accuracy;
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
