At Barden, we are delighted to be partnering with an Irish company based in Cork City that is currently looking to grow their team with an ambitious payroll specialist or payroll leader who can champion the growth in this function. This a great opportunity for someone looking for a step up in the short to medium term to payroll leadership or for an experienced payroll manager to join and lead this team from the start. Salary is competitive depending on experience and there is a possibility to work a 4 day condensed week. (4 x 8 hour days at fulltime salary)
The team here are well established and strong and are really excited to have someone joining to lead them in this hyper growth phase.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Manage multiple payrolls, including monthly, weekly, and fortnightly.
- Collect and process timely payroll information from clients.
- Calculate employee pay, taxes, and deductions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submissions.
- Apply knowledge of payroll policies and regulations.
- Address client queries promptly and accurately.
- Continuously improve payroll processes and efficiencies.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Strong Irish Payroll Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Thesaurus, and any other payroll software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong numeracy and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
