There is a Six-figure Salary / package on offer for this key position.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- From the ‘get-go’ you’ll be focused on providing a strategic vision for the software and collaborate with management and the team to reach alignment.
- The newly created position will give you the platform to drive innovation across this Dev team, taking initiative to research ideas & pitching them to management for buy-in.
- Be cognizant of Application Security vulnerabilities within your code & the code you review.
- Identify strategic opportunities for the Software and the team and communicate to the mgmt and the team.
- Think long-term & drive to build a robust product.
- You will get to mentor Junior Developers & shape the on-boarding & training repository & help teams make the decisions in how they architect, implement and deliver the code that they write
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- You’ll possess a level of comfort working in production environments.
- Strong Software architecture design skills for maintaining High Availability and Fault Tolerance
- Hands on experience developing and implementing microservices in Java.
- Your technical profile might detail experience in some of OR all of the following as outlined below:
‘Modern DevOps best practices, experience in using IDEs & build tools (IntelliJ, Maven, Grails)
Critical production systems in a Linux / Unix environment,
Java Spring Hibernate stack, JVM configuration, memory, heap monitoring, Systems integration across full stack including DB,
AWS, Kibana, Docker, Logstash, Python,
Caching & messaging systems like Redis, Kafka.
