Barden has been engaged by a leading business in the Irish market with good international expansion looking to hire a privacy lawyer to join the legal team in Dublin.

THE ROLE

The successful candidate will support the business in Ireland and internationally on all data protection and privacy matters, including providing advice on applicable laws and regulations, liaising with the DPC as required, managing SAR’s, supporting on DPIAs and on international transfers of personal data.

The individual will have a significant role to play in shaping the company’s privacy program and will have the opportunity to contribute and support in other areas, such as M&A, commercial contracts, employment law, etc.

THE PERSON

A qualified lawyer with demonstrable experience in data protection and the GDPR.
The role would fit a newly qualified or junior lawyer with general/broad experience (to include necessarily strong knowledge of data protection) looking to develop their career in privacy. However, more senior lawyers with said experience will also be considered.
